REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
November 16, 2022
Margaret Henningsen, as temporary President, called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. Board President, Kris Gray was absent. Board Member, Cathy Beck was present. Also in attendance were Administrative Assistant, Sue Hite and Maintenance, Danny Hill.
Pledge of Allegiance
Unscheduled Public Appearance: None.
Danny Hill presented the playground project status and next steps. The board agreed that Danny should
order gravel for the handicap ramp. Cathy will pursue a quote from Versacourt.
Danny left the meeting at 5:00 P.M.
Minutes: Margaret made a motion to approve the October 19, 2022 meeting minutes, Cathy seconded.
Financial: Cathy made a motion to approve Accounts Payable Voucher #9110 and ratification of Accounts Payable Vouchers #9108 and #9109, Margaret seconded.
Head Teacher, Shannon Olson was present at 5:10 P.M.
Head Teacher Report: The holiday program will be held on December 20th at 5:00 P.M.
Shannon presented the board with information regarding reading curriculum resources that will comply with state requirements. She will return with specific costs. The board agreed that this was a good use of ESSER II grant funds.
New Business:
- ESSER II grant – Discuss Budget revision.
- Policy Advisories – 737-738- Review. Postponed.
- The board discussed district administrative duties. Cathy will contact Tim Carter and Sue will contact YCESA staff concerning administrative support.
- Playground status and next steps
