B. Adoption of Agenda
Motion to adopt the Agenda by Wayne Adair, Seconded by Jana Hare

Motion to approve Meeting Minutes for September 10, 2025 by Christina Nisbet, Seconded by Jana Hare

F. Limited Call to the Public (President)
- The public is invited to speak about any agenda item.
- There is a limit of three (3) minutes per speaker and 20 minutes total.
- Request to speak must be in writing and provided to the School Secretary at the beginning of the meeting or prior to any agenda item.
- The President has absolute discretion over procedural matters.
- The Board may waive their “Public Participation Policy” as it applies to all speakers.
- Members of the public may indicate their support or opposition to a topic, in writing, that will be noted and entered into the record.
- The Board may not respond to comments from the public, but may ask the facilitator to respond or place the item on a future agenda.

- Consent Agenda items:
A. Ratification of Payroll Vouchers: 6 & 7 – Approved
B. Ratification of Expense Vouchers: 9107 & 9108 – Approved
C. HVAC/Furnace at Teacherage. Discussion/Action – Motion by Christina Nisbet to go forward with repairs to the furnace at the Teacherage to be done by AC By Dave, Seconded by Wayne Adair.
D. Playground Equipment donation/sell. Discussion/Action – Motion by Christina Nisbet to post selected playground equipment available to current students first, then post for auction to the public, Seconded by Wayne Adair. Motion by Christina Nisbet to sale excess concrete purchased for playground equipment to be offered to the public for sale, Seconded by Wayne Adair.
- Specific items of District business:
A. ASBA Policies, 863-865 & 866-875. Adopt/Decline – Motion by Christina Nisbet to Adopt ASBA Policies 863-865 & 866-875, Seconded Wayne Adair (unanimously across the board).
B. FY 2024 REAP Funds allocation. Discussion/Action – Board discusses allocation of funds. Motion by Christina Nisbet to inquire about allocation to included but not be limited to, Teacher Salary, Assistant Teacher Salary, IEP Curriculum, and Grade 9-12 expansion costs, Seconded by Jana Hare (unanimously across the board).
C. FY25 AFR Approval. Discussion/Action – Motion by Christina Nisbet to Approve FY25 AFR, Seconded by Jana Hare (unanimously across the board).
D. 9-12 Grade Expansion. Discussion/Action – Board discussed possibility and options for expansion of current K-8 to K-12. Discussion included Accredited vs Charter, expansion requirements, costs, and staffing. Motion by Christina Nisbet to move forward with the exploration of expansion, Seconded by Wayne Adair (unanimously across the board).

Copies of agendas and supporting documentation relative to public meetings are available at the Crown King School during normal work hours, 24 hours prior to a meeting and immediately preceding the Open meeting date.
The next meeting will be held (tentatively on) November 12th, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crown King Elementary School.
