Special Meeting Minutes
April 5th, 2021

The meeting was called to order by Board President, Kris Gray at 4:00 P.M. Board Member Margaret
Henningsen was present. Board Member, Sheila Coleman was absent.

Pledge of Allegiance
Unscheduled Public Appearance:

Head Teacher Shannon Olson requested Board input on policies:
Pre-K enrollment – Must be age 5 before/on Sept. 1 of school year.
Student retention – Board will follow-up with Yavapai Superintendent for current policies.
Horse Fire make-up days – State law requires districts to make every reasonable attempt to ensure 180 days of instruction.

New Business:

The Board went into Executive session to discuss 2021/2022 Staffing.

The regular meeting reconvened at 5:40 P.M.

The next board meeting will be April 7, 2021.

The meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
