The meeting was called to order by Board President, Margaret Henningsen at 4:30 P.M. Board Member Kris Gray was present. Board Members, Margaret Henningsen and Sheila Coleman were present via ZOOM. Also, in attendance were Head Teacher, Shannon Olson and Administrative Assistant, Sue Hite.

New Business:

Margaret stated that we are following the ADHS guidelines that recommend 3 benchmarks be
met on a county level in reopening schools. Yavapai County is in the substantial spread category in all 3 benchmarks at this time and she feels that a two week period following the holidays is a reasonable amount of time to allow for assessment of the effects of travel and family gatherings on the situation. Our concern is for the health and safety of our students and their families, staff and the community. Margaret made a motion that the school delay in person learning for 2 weeks and reevaluate the situation in two weeks, Sheila and Kris seconded. The next board meeting will be Jan. 13, 2021.
